BRICKLAYING BONDS


The overlapping connection of one brick with another.

Flemish bondEnglish bond
Each course alternately broad and narrow faces. Alternate courses wholly broad or narrow faces.
Stretcher bondRat-trap bond
Each course entirely broad faces. As Flemish but bricks on edge.
